Assistant Professor, Slavic Languages and Literatures in Charlottesville, VA. Teach graduate and undergraduate Russian Language courses. The teaching load is 3 courses per semester. Conduct scholarly research and perform service to university. Req’d: Ph.D. in Slavic Studies or a related field is required, as is native or near-native fluency in both Russian and English and a commitment to teaching. Experience mentoring students and experience teaching Russian language at a North American institution of higher education are both preferred but not required. No amount of experience is required.
